I can’t say i was entirely happy, neither am i overly sad.

I just wished i could have done 1 point better.

Then i could escape from all these insecurities.

Please let me get into my first choice.

time seriously flies by. I’ve been visiting the various poly open houses for the past few days. NYP, SP AND NP. Basically just looking at courses like intl business and biomedical science, anything that will get me into university.

dyou know you have to get a GPA of more than 3.8 to get into university? considering the full GPA score is 4, 3.8 would be a bloody amazing but mad score. GPA is a play on consistency, one of my poorer areas considering my full time competency as a procrastinator.

SIGH BUT FOR NOW MY NERVE CELLS ARE DYING OUT ONE BY ONE(WITHOUT REPLACEMENT) AS I AWAIT RESULTS DAY.

It’s been a long time since i blogged and much has happened. OK first things first.

#1 Os’ ARE OVER AND DONE WITH.

It honestly feels like a part of my life is finally complete after slugging it out the one whole year. All those sleepless(ok i make it a point to sleep before 1) nights of snacking, red bull and starbucks seemed so far away mentally, but not physically. I have almost half a month until results day and to tell the truth, i’m scared. I did my best for some papers but for some i really had no fighting spirit left, particularly the last few after amath and lit day. What i need now is a zen mind.

#2 PROM

Prom went by in a blur. I mostly hung out with those at my table and of course the team. I know me and A were mostly goofing around and gossiping about whatever we could find. THE DESSERT WAS GOOD it was pudding hahahah and that’s about all i remember. Then it was time to take off for the airport with zoe.

#3 YMGE(Yale Model Government Europe)

Best thing that happened to me this year. The entire trip was 12 days with close to 2 days spent rotting on the plane. First we went to Germany: Munich, Rothenburg, Nuremberg and Berlin. Basically, we toured Germany and went to many historical sites AHEM HITLER  and my favourite being the concentration camp. It was deeply enriching and spiritual for me…(OK WEIRD)

Then we took a train to Prague, capital of Czech Rep. It’s said to be the most beautiful place in Europe and my brain certainly agreed with my eyes. We spent 4 days in Prague for the conference. The crisis this year was energy and security and the organisers just blasted us crisis after crisis to the point where we all decided to just declare war on one another(SEE TWITTER#YMGE)

Made many friends there, especially Eric and this Russian dude who i never asked for his name(sob). 2 people from CGS won . I honestly want to go back and visit again but i am in desperate need of $.

Many friendships forged and many wars raged (LOL) throughout the conference. heartfelt gratitude to those who made my dream come true!^^

a quick update: I’m 1/2 done with Os and i’ve been sleeping the whole day today thanks to my trusty panadols. I have history on tuesday but i’m really not in the mood to let dictators with the likes of hitler, stalin diffuse into my mind. i guess what’ll be doing is a few papers that were given out before the self-study 2 week break.

please let me recover soon i’m feeling way too lazy and drowsy.

for effective studying, i recommend bishan. anywhere in bishan. Let the content from the elite brains diffuse into yours. it works ^^

back to my holidays.

i haven’t been doing much, as my aim this holiday was to look for my prom dress. Had a tiff with my mom over the dress due to conflicting tastes in style. which ended up with us going separate ways after that. after that, i called josie and we went to the daniel yam boutique where i picked out a LBD. the best part? it was way below what i had expected to spend.

ok finally, GO ALL BLACKS!

Ocean City, Maryland (CNN) – After slamming into the East Coast and knocking out power to about 3 million people, Hurricane Irene is now taking aim at the biggest cities in the Northeast.

Irene pummeled Ocean City, Maryland, early Sunday while en route to New York City, threatening to flood parts of Manhattan and bring the bustling city to a virtual standstill.

Ocean City appeared to have endured the blows.While the storm dumped 11 inches of rain by early morning, there was no major flooding.

Some sections of the city were without power, and officials stopped sending vehicles to respond to 911 calls after winds topped 50 mph, said Bob Rhode of the city office of emergency management.

With the exception of an extreme, catastrophic event, “No one goes out. No one moves,” Rhode said.

Throughout the city, shelves upon empty shelves greeted last-minute shoppers at stores. Caution tapes barricaded the turnstiles at subway stops.
