HI WORLD I’M BAAAACK. DONE WITH Os AND DONE WITH YMGE!!!
It’s been a long time since i blogged and much has happened. OK first things first.
#1 Os’ ARE OVER AND DONE WITH.
It honestly feels like a part of my life is finally complete after slugging it out the one whole year. All those sleepless(ok i make it a point to sleep before 1) nights of snacking, red bull and starbucks seemed so far away mentally, but not physically. I have almost half a month until results day and to tell the truth, i’m scared. I did my best for some papers but for some i really had no fighting spirit left, particularly the last few after amath and lit day. What i need now is a zen mind.
#2 PROM
Prom went by in a blur. I mostly hung out with those at my table and of course the team. I know me and A were mostly goofing around and gossiping about whatever we could find. THE DESSERT WAS GOOD it was pudding hahahah and that’s about all i remember. Then it was time to take off for the airport with zoe.
#3 YMGE(Yale Model Government Europe)
Best thing that happened to me this year. The entire trip was 12 days with close to 2 days spent rotting on the plane. First we went to Germany: Munich, Rothenburg, Nuremberg and Berlin. Basically, we toured Germany and went to many historical sites AHEM HITLER and my favourite being the concentration camp. It was deeply enriching and spiritual for me…(OK WEIRD)
Then we took a train to Prague, capital of Czech Rep. It’s said to be the most beautiful place in Europe and my brain certainly agreed with my eyes. We spent 4 days in Prague for the conference. The crisis this year was energy and security and the organisers just blasted us crisis after crisis to the point where we all decided to just declare war on one another(SEE TWITTER#YMGE)
Made many friends there, especially Eric and this Russian dude who i never asked for his name(sob). 2 people from CGS won . I honestly want to go back and visit again but i am in desperate need of $.
Many friendships forged and many wars raged (LOL) throughout the conference. heartfelt gratitude to those who made my dream come true!^^
